Thank you Viktor. We are truly heartbroken at the state of our nation. We'll continue the fight to reveal the goals of the current administration to those who've been taken in and cannot see the truth for what it is.

Thanks Viktor. Yes, it is getting worse in the US, but I think we are getting to an inflection point where the impact of the fascist movement will start being felt by my and more Americans and we can start turning the movement. More to be seen

Going just by what I've seen on the air (well, on the 'Net...we'll see what the mainstream media makes of it), and the fact that I couldn't get anywhere near my site in southern California (bad news :-/) because it was too crowded (good news!), is actually very heartening.

But frankly, we expected that sort of thing in L.A.; we're deeply Blue here as far as U.S. politics go, but even more heartening are the reports from deeply RED states, most of whom voted for Trump: not only are they having "buyer's remorse" now as the authoritarian thugs come for them and theirs, but the level of anti-Trump protests in places like that are very encouraging. :)

We'll get through this, especially with help from our friends. :)

Slava Ukraini!

Thank you for your concern for America, Viktor. We are going through a difficult time, but we will be all right. To shamelessly quote myself from an upcoming post, "In our short history we’ve had wars, assassinations, riots, crime waves, debilitating economic recessions and depressions, worldwide pandemics, Constitutional crises, and a society that enslaved those who were not white, and oppressed those who were not male.” And we have persevered. I have to believe we will get through the current difficulties, too. These are hard times in America, but it pales in comparison to the horrors Ukrainians have to face every day. Slava Ukraini. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Thankyou for seeing us Viktor! My heart has been crying for the people of Ukraine, praying that we will see truth and justice come quickly to your brave country. I have been aware that we under a leadership that is based on lies and corruption and is destroying the freedom that we have taken for granted. God bless you and keep you safe. Your words matter and encourage us so much. β€οΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦πŸŒ»

Thank you as always, Viktor. I am leaving soon for New York City’s march that starts at our main public library at Bryant Park. Viktor, there are two huge, beautiful statues of lions fronting the libraryβ€”you can Google them. Their names are Patience and Fortitude. I will think of you today.

Viktor, you have brought tears to my eyes. Thank you for your support of us here in America. We are living in a nightmare--not as terrible as yours, yet, but it is still devastating. I hope today's "No Kings" protests will be huge; they have started that way already in NYC, we have read. Here, in a small town in Oregon, we will show up with much energy in a few hours. . .

Thank you Victor. I am so worried about the US too. Every day we are in this mess is another day of more destruction and death for Ukraine. We will never again be the "Leader of the Free World", but we could be a light in the darkness if we can purge our current poison of fascism.. You may have heard that a domestic terrorist broke in and shot two state legislators last night. He shot the legislators and their spouses. One couple has already died. This is the violence our dictator wants to see. I pray we turn out in the millions today to say No to all of this. The people of Eastern Europe are our inspiration and guides for how to do this. We must not fail.

The thing that has always puzzled me about conflict on a large scale is this: why is it that the other side never sees their opponents as just as human as they are?? If they did, they'd realize that their thuggish tactics, that wouldn't work on /them/, will not work against their opponents, especially the more cruel they are. :-/

Of course, if us humans had more empathy, we wouldn't be invading our neighbors or oppressing our own citizens in the first place... X-P

Because many humans are Narcissists who do not care one ounce about anyone else's reality or pain....then they use religion as a tool of abuse and vote other Sociopaths into Power like Trump Noem Patel Hegseth...etcetera. America has a Mass Narcissm problem. But good humans are sick of the abuse and this is what we saw today in all our cities with the Peaceful No Kings Protests. Meanwhile the Sociopathic Maga types assassinated A Democratic Rep and her husband today.

Gah, yeah; and despite the murderer still being on the loose, folks still gathered en masse in Minnesota, even though Gov. Walz (sigh; good for Minnesota, but why couldn't he have been VP Walz...) strongly suggested folks not go out in such a precarious situation. :-/
