I pray our political leaders can / will continue to do so under the pressure from the US which is implicit now, but which will become explicit soon. There are many tests now and in the immediate future for democratic nations around the world to follow their values. Most can’t fathom the darkness you have faced but you have endured. My thoughts are with your wife and son. I pray that you all will be reunited safely in peace and love soon.
It is 7:50 pm here now. I remember when Putin declared war on your beautiful country all those years ago thinking he would have Ukraine and Ukrainians cowed in a matter of days. He did not recognize however the indomitable spirit of the people of Ukraine; the bravery and determination of President Zelensky and the support of other countries, including the US. I salute all of the above and hope and pray for the successful resolution of the war to the benefit of Ukraine and her peoples. Thank you for your unswerving efforts to keep the world informed.
