It is sad that the Putin managed to invade and occupy the US without even firing a shot. He tried the same in Ukraine, but the Ukranian people ousted his man. When his manipulations and deceit no longer worked Putin resorted to tanks. With the US he could do it on the cheap. Invited a vain selfish billionaire repeatedly Moscow since the 1980s and stroke his ego relentlessly. Loan him billions from Russian banks. Tell him how smart and wise he was. Tell him he should run for president. He would be so good at it. Then help him out with some Russian troll farms. That is invasion on a shoe string.
US spent all that money building a massive military, nuclear arsenal... all for nothing. Russia just snuck in the backdoor.
Peaceful protests are needed to impress upon USA, Europe and the UK governments that we stand with Ukraine and support them 💯 with what is needed. Russia may want peace but they have shown by their history they do not keep their word. After Ukraine gave up their nuclear weapons American and Europe said they would keep them safe. Now is not the time to break our word. SUPPORT UKRAINE. 🇺🇦
Thank you for writing this, it is so true! President Zelensky is a one-in-a-million hero. Courage beyond all measure, intelligence and integrity all in one man. I feel lucky to have witnessed his role in history. I am unlikely to ever see anyone who can match him. I pray for him and wish him safety, victory and peace.
