It definitely seems to be the case, dear Richard. More and more the case. Unfortunately. And we are here to fight and rebel until our last drop of strength so it will finally prevails.💙
Mr. Kravchuk, I am from the US and want to tell you that I am ashamed and heartbroken 💔 over what the US has done and is doing, but like most of us here I won't give up and bow to this horrific regime! I, am sorry that this is late but a blessed belated Birthday and Dear God 🕊️ Jesus 💛🇺🇦💙 please be by your side and watch over and bless you and all the innocent Animals and People of the Ukraine! 🫂
Your writing, your patriotism, your honest exploration of love and resilience, is the beauty that counteracts the ugliness that invaded your country. ❤️
Thank you so much, dear PeMi! I said I didn’t want any gifts, but I’d happily accept if someone could wrap up democracy and freedom and give them to me, for sure!! 🇺🇦
Happy birthday, Victor. Keep writing. It is your salvation. It is also a way for me, a frail old woman, to join with the universe of people who love and support you and your country. Slava Ukraini. 🇺🇦💙💛
This might be your most inspiring post to date, Viktor. Or maybe just the one I needed to read today.
Americans are steeling up our spines to fight against an authoritarian fascist takeover of our own democracy. We will fight not with bullets but with nonviolent protest and boycotts. But we know that authoritarians and fascists respond to such things with violence and repression. So we will need courage.
That's why your birthday post was so inspiring to me.
Dear Julie, thank you for such beautiful words. Please know that somehow your vibrations are inspiring me back too. Courage is something that we need in large supply, but when our fight is about something really important, like the fight against fascism, a fight that our lives really depend upon (or at least the meaningful part of our lives), we get that supply in one way or another. We are together in this fight! 💙💛
I wish and pray for an end to the atrocities of an evil war and for you to live long and prosper in a free Ukraine. When we both get over this terror, I hope to visit just to meet the strong enduring people and learn about your culture. Much love. 🎂🎁
I was talking about that with some friends some days ago, how incredibly honored we would be to receive our supporters here to visit the land they are so beautifully supporting from so far away. We will definitely make sure that your visit will be the most memorable trip of your life. Much love to you too dear Susan, thanks for everything 💙💙
Happy Day Viktor!! I grew up in the central part of Canada and had many Ukrainian Canadian friends and still do today (I’m soon to be 78). The suffering and horror to which Ukraine is being subjected makes my heart hurt. My pride in the persistence and unbelievable bravery of your people is inspiring. Many of us are praying for you and for a justifiable, soon end to this invasion. It cannot come soon enough.
Thank you very much dear Candace. Nothing would be possible if my voice would not be heard by friends of Ukraine like you. I don't know how exactly, but we are doing something here against the war, against oppression, against evil. 💙
Viktor your voice is so important and so beautiful, and you inspire all of us around the world but especially in the US, where many don't understand that freedom isn't free and that we are far less free than we were only a few months ago. Like the frog in the pot of water who doesn't realize he's about to be boiled.
We are stronger together. You bless us with your honesty and courage and beautiful writing. BLESSINGS on your special birthday! 🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦
Happy Birthday, Viktor. We love love and can't wait for this war to end. Mostly, I'm sorry our country has not been there for you the way we should have been, and it's only become worse under the new administration. We are trying very hard to fix that.
Dear Suzanne, while there are people like you caring about us, we will always see your country as being for us, no matter who are the people on Washington and which are the choices they make. You the people will fix that, sooner or later, there's absolutely no doubt about that. Thank you for the wishes and for caring about 🇺🇦! 💙💛
There are planned (peaceful) protests around the country this weekend to protest the Trump admin. I am going to one in the next town and will be carrying a "flag" in Ukraine's colors that says, "We Stand With The Ukrainian President, Not the American Dictator".
I bought it shortly after President Zelenskyy's meeting with Trump and Vance in the Oval Office during which Trump and Vance disgraced themselves, that office, and this country, and your president conducted himself like the heroic adult that he is. We should be so lucky to have a president like him.
I also got a pin and a car magnet, to add to the one that has been there almost since the war began. Driving around the area where I live, I occasionally see similar magnets on cars, and Ukrainian flags hanging on people's houses or by their mailboxes. This is in suburban Boston, MA.
Sigh...I'd signed up myself before I realized I had made a previous commitment to something else that day. So, I'll just have to put my Ukrainian flag in the car window and maybe drive down a street vs. the freeway to get to where I need to go! :D
Viktor, I wish that I could take you for a good dinner and a few adult beverages for your birthday. I'm half a world away from you, so I guess my best wishes will have to do. Happy birthday, my friend.
Dear Gregg, I will definitely be more than pleased to share a beer or two with you when everything gets done, I don't normally take alcohol but the really important dates are worth the exception and so the invitation is entirely accepted, no matter if it's your birthday or mine! Thank you so much 💙💙
Happy Birthday Victor. This is also my father’s birthday—born before both World Wars—you will survive and your country will come out stronger with an unshakable faith in your strength and identify. Canada has never known war in modern times in its homeland and I hope we never do. Hugs.
So honored to share my birthday with your father, dear friend. It's hard even to imagine how things could be worse, but let's imagine for a minute a little about the time he was born, with the fascist/nazist threats to the world, Holodomor in Ukraine, Stalin on this side of the world here... If we somehow are here to discuss the history and to hope for better days, maybe it's a sign that we will resist all that is happening and see again democracy and dignity prevail in our countries. Thank you so much for your words. 🇨🇦💙💛
Thank you for being honest and real…for choosing to wake up each day. I hope your next birthday will be with those you love with cake and candles because Ukraine will be whole and at peace.
Dear Kathy, it may sound repetitive, but life is a miracle, and I will never stop being thankful for that miracle even though I still need to live with the impact of the worst of humanity in my country. Nothing will steal my love for life and for being thankful for waking up each day. Thank you for your words, and my greetings to beautiful Kansas, which must be a very special place since I learned these days that it's called the Sunflower State! 🌻🌻🌻
I never expected you to reply! Thank you for your testament to the wonder of life in the midst of its cruelty. I’m strong, but I’m sorry you have to be strong on a whole another level . The land of Kansas is beautiful, and I used to think its people were also. But so many have allowed themselves to be brainwashed. My husband and I keep Ukraine in our hearts and prayers….and try to give our reps in Congress an earful!
Thank you Viktor, I believe too that one day love and kindness will be seen as more important by enough people to make the changes and stop the suffering.
Your words have made a real difference, thank you, for your birthday message, it is a global message, that everyone can learn from your example to be a better human, a more caring soul, thank you and warm wishes Mark
Happy birthday! Your words touch me so and I am so grateful that you are writing. You are sharing your humanity and encouraging all of us to be brave. We all need that in these days.
Thank you very very much, Linda. I'm honored to share a little of our courage, we all need it, because our fight is universal, and it's not something localized to Ukraine, the USA, or any other country. We will get all the courage we need because we are all united against the same evil forces that threaten our civilization everywhere. 🌻
That right there! You've nailed it, Viktor. I wish I could show you a picture of my neighborhood in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. So many Ukrainian flags flying over people's houses. We are getting mobilized, there is real rage. You are not alone even though I'm sure it feels like it in the most horrible way. Together we will prevail!
THIS. I am moved to tears by your words. May you be enveloped in the love you both give and receive. May you have a constant awareness that your voice brings your experiences to the consciousness of those who hear it.
As I read in a different context, on a different Substack, Kindness is an act of rebellion.
It definitely seems to be the case, dear Richard. More and more the case. Unfortunately. And we are here to fight and rebel until our last drop of strength so it will finally prevails.💙
💙💛💙💛💙💛💙💛❤️
molon labe patriot put a Ukraine flag on a post to me and said how to recognize lib tards. I have a screenshot but I can't put it here.

Happy Birthday! Many more. Hopefully all the rest of your many birthdays to come will be in a free, democratic Ukraine. Slava Ukraine!!
Thank you so much, dear PeMi! I said I didn’t want any gifts, but I’d happily accept if someone could wrap up democracy and freedom and give them to me, for sure!! 🇺🇦
We (America) would like some of that democracy and freedom also.
🗽🇺🇲🇺🇦
Totally ashamed and angry that people have been playing Ukraine along, and not just GIVING UKRAINE EVERYTHING IT NEEDS.
AMERICA has ALWAYS stood by our allies.
We live near Seattle in Washington State.
We have a good governor, but not all states do.
It has only been 2 months, but things are radically changing.
Your words give me strength that we will once again live
a "normal" life, and so will you.
Because people like you are writing we KNOW that UKRAINE is constantly under fire.
You are brave and courageous, and your country gives us hope that we can once again be brave
and fight the good fight.
Take care.
Keep writing.🌷🌸🪻

Can I come with you? My grandfather came from Dniepro region in the early 1900s. I want to go home.

Your words have mattered, you out a voice to your country. If we could we would stop this awful war.

I believe that the free world is in jeopardy now. I sure hope Putin is roundly defeated and Trump is trounced.

For all the many wild sunflowers that are native there! May be different species, but they're still bright and beautiful. :)
