I am heartbroken at his depraved indifference for democracy and the rule of law. More than half of our population did NOT vote for him and are voicing outrage at his betrayal of Ukraine.

Don’t give up hope, Viktor. All of Europe and Canada stand with Ukraine, So do most Americans, too, but a portion of our population is, like, under an evil spell. I’m ashamed of America for betraying our friends. The betrayal of Ukraine hurts the worst. The Republican leader of America does not represent the feelings of Americans like me, who fully believe Ukraine can and must beat Russia. I don’t want my country to align with evil, but I voted for Kamala. I’m so sorry.

Trump’s bromance with is longstanding, going back to at least 2015 when he was first actively running for President.

I am personally convinced that Putin has something on Trump, and that Trump is 100% owned by Putin.

We know who Trump is and we know who Putin is. We know the Ukrainian people will prevail. Our president has no right to give Ukraine to Russia any more than he has the right to annex sovereign nations.

Every hour of every day on every subject it’s a depraved, disgusting reality show with graphics. The federal goverment of the USA is dissolving as we watch.

Many Americans support Ukraine and will not waiver. We do not support a government and leaders who do not defend our Constitution and values. We admire Ukraine and the unity and bravery of your people. You have been in my prayers for three years now. My prayers will continue.

I'm very sorry for what the orange hippo and his lover Putin are doing to you and your people. I find their behavior disgusting. I thought it was very unfair to not have Zelenskyy at the table for discussions. It was immature and it was done on purpose. I do believe in Karma and sooner or later they will both get what they deserve. Please Ukrainians don't give up. I'm inspired everyday on how Ukrainians fight back and I pray that y'all don't stop fighting back against these deranged, mentally ill, unstable misfits who belong in jail or six feet underground. πŸ’™πŸ’›πŸ’™πŸ’›

So, so sorry, friend. We support and love you. We are heartbroken for what’s happening. It’s depraved what this person is doing. He is Putins puppet just like he is Musks and we are just as horrified by it. Please know how much support you have from us. You’re in our hearts.

Great post. The world needs to reckon with the fact that American dominance will come to an end. If that’s now or later it won’t matter, but Europe and South-Eastern Asia need to be prepared.

Check out my article that’s similar to this: https://historywithryan.substack.com/p/the-myth-of-peace-without-ukraine?r=54goeg

That’s illogical & sounds very like Putin- by its very gigantic size (money/trade/people/land) America will always be a dominant player on the world stage. The REAL question is which side of the world will Trump ally ? Obviously Trump wants to side with Putin/China/NorthKorea - all the axis of evil - which is horrifying to us Americans who are the 50% who voted for Kamala & are pro-democracy & pro-Ukraine - the good guys move slower here in the US but we are finally getting out of our malaise & waking up & fighting back - there’s a LOT more of us good guys than Trumpers who are really only 25% of the country - we will win cuz the country’s heart is not where these Trumpers/MAGAts are - only 60% of the population voted - of that 60% only 1/2 voted for Trump so that’s only about 30% of our country (still sickeningly high for Nazi/MAGAts) but that means 70% of the country is NOT with Trump/Putin/Musk - plus they ravaging the Fed govt employees firing thousands including the FBI which converts more Trumpers into anti-Trumpers (especially at the FBI) so they are isolated without a police or military to do their bidding - stay tuned - SLAVA UKRAINE πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦- and Fuck Putin/Trump/Musk !

Under Trump America is receding into isolationism.

I’m not even reading your comment past the part where you think my statement is pro-Putin. Unfortunately the Trump admin has power in American and no other political party has any authority or influence into what the Trump admin does.

If you want Ukraine, Europe, and the rest of the world to wait 4+ years for a reversal on American isolationism then you have already ceded power to Russia, China, and Iran.

I used to believe that Trump wants isolationism but it’s worse - per Ruth Ben-Ghiat (who is a professor studying authoritarians) Trump is moving to Imperialism (ie wants Greenland & Canada & renaming the Gulf of Mexico to America) - my point is he is going to isolate us from OUR allies (the Western democracies, EU) towards a solid alliance with every dictator in the world - so he’s trying to mimic Putin’s War of Aggression towards Ukraine by threatening to seize Canada/Greenland/GulfOfMexico (which is mostly in international waters or in Mexican waters) - it’s the shift from Allies β€”-> to Isolationism β€”β€”> now to Axis of Evil (Putin/China/NK) + Imperialism - I think we are saying roughly the same thing except I’m arguing that Trump is going even farther to partner with horrific dictators like Putin et al - ok so we’re both pro-Ukraine & pro-democracy - we just have to keep fighting & not give up - BTW the words β€œisolationism” plays directly into the hands of Trumpers/MAGAts who always say β€œwhy should we fight a war way over there when we have problems here in the US - we shouldn’t be fighting any wars” - that’s why I recoiled at your premise theory of isolationism because it gives them a win - when they’re wrong (obviously see WW1&2 et al) - any talking points that are anti-Ukraine can be interpreted pro-Putin - again this is what TrumperMAGAts say they are anti-Ukraine in favor of isolationism- hence my reference to Putin - take it in context
