DECEMBER, A NEW MONTH HAS ARRIVED. The last month of the second year of war in Ukraine. It is already the 22rd month under invasion and millions of lives changed along this time, maybe billions if we count the network of you supporters from all over the world.Β
However, I wouldn't like to take your time, my reader, with another pledge of support for Ukraine or another request of awareness. There are a lot of good people around doing that everyday, journalists, bloggers, writers, and so on, now I'm sure Ukraine will never lose protection from our allies or the attention from you.
Russia wasn't ready for the strong bonds this war built between us, bonds that will never break apart.
So at the start of the month I have a message of hope. As always is my intention, I want to add something meaningful to my friends and deliver some positiveness as much as possible. We need to consider the start of this new month a reason to celebrate, for all of us.Β
While uncertainty about the own life is a reality among everyone of us no matter where we live, in Ukraine these days the concerns about our own existence goes to another level since no one is really safe. The entire territory of this country is subjected to Russian attacks. But it doesn't make us Ukrainians different or special, quite the opposite: being a Ukrainian today provides us only a particular circumstance that shows us the importance of valuing our existence and looking carefully into our very transitory nature of experiencing life.
We are transitory wherever we are, and we must search for what provides the true value of this complex experience of living. So challenging, with so many wonderful features, along with extremely sad ones many times side by side.
Having a growth mindset by adapting, embracing, and overcoming things, maybe is critical for achieving some enjoyment from exploration and expansion of our abilities and feelings, being on the active side of our experience instead of passively acting or accepting elements that aren't part of our life adventure.
This is a simple message, my friends, to celebrate that a new month has arrived and we must celebrate that we made it this far, somehow.
Remember always that you don't have to please everyone. Just do the best you can for those you want to, including yourself.
What are your plans for December? Among my objectives, I want to stay a little closer from you my friends, writing more, extend my help to communities I visit in Western Ukraine, publish my second book, publish a compilation of all these almost one hundred articles, start posting at Threads (it has been highly recommended), so many things.
If I'd be able to reach these goals, no one knows. It is still a reality that it's possible that I won't even reach the end of this month. A reality for all of us. Nevertheless, I'll do my best at every single day, day after day, so nothing in the end, no matter when the end comes, will be lived in vain.
Happy December, my friends.
Stay hopeful.
pretty typical of a Banderite to celebrate the mass death of Ukrainians in a pointless war.
