I write for a purpose
Ukraine is living through hell so that no one else has to in the future.
I personally donβt care how many followers I have or donβt have on social media. What matters to me is the quality, integrity, and harmony of our shared goalsβprecisely, our fight for Ukraine.
I love interacting with friends here on Substack and Threads, just as I once loved doing on Twitter.
That said, I was happy to see that more than 3,000 people are already following me on Threads. But not really happy for myself. It doesnβt have any influence on my principles, my personality, or my desire to open my heart to the world.
Iβm happy for my country because these thousands of followers reflect how widespread the support for Ukraine is. At this moment in our history, Iβm sure you agree with meβitβs crucial to see that we are not alone!
Everything also raises a thought about what Iβm doing here. Whatβs the purpose of all of that?
Iβm here to tell my stories. Stories that I live, but that also belong to you, because you are a defender of freedom and justice, no matter where you are.
Iβm here to find peace as I meet new and wonderful people who read my words and send me the kindest messages.
Iβm here to reflect on whatβs happening in the war that surrounds me and in the world that surrounds all of us.
Most importantly, Iβm here because I believe itβs of universal interest to understand whatβs going on inside the mind and soul of the common, ordinary citizen of Ukraine at this moment. The war Iβm living has somehow transformed into a worldwide event that touches every aspect of our lives.
Everywhere.
Destiny chose Ukraine to be the battleground of a conflict that threatens all of humanity. And I feel itβs my duty to tell the story Iβm living, as destiny also chose me to be born Ukrainian and to live on this land.
No one knows where the dice of destiny will fall in the coming years or decades. God forbid, but who knows where the next Ukraine will be? No one is safe in our world today.
Thank you for reading my words, for supporting me, for caring about me.
Thank you for standing with Ukraine.

My wish for you and all of Ukraine is ππ». Your efforts are much appreciated. Peace and love from Canada.
I admire your courage and determination and of your fellow countrymen who persevere through the terrible war that none of you asked for. Your words have a resolve that inspires me and Iβm sure many others who read them. My heart hurts for Ukraine and pray often that your country will prevail and stay a free and democratic country. We need all of you in this world, living as a free nation. May God shine His blessings on Ukraine.
